Ida Holth

Many years of experience as a psychologist in private practice. She has specialization in intensive depth therapy (ISTDP) and EMDR.

Ida is a psychologist with extensive experience from private practice. She specializes in the therapy form ISTDP (intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy), an engaging and effective approach for a wide range of ailments. She is currently also taking further training in EMDR, which is a recognized method for processing traumatic experiences.

Ida is keen to create a safe therapy room where you work together to create change. She will help you increase your capacity to tolerate and regulate emotions, become more aware of why you react and act the way you do and create good, lasting changes in your everyday life. She has experience in treating, among other things, trauma, depression, social anxiety, panic disorder, procrastination, self-image problems, relational difficulties, complicated grief, drug addiction and existential questions.

In addition to clinical work, she has worked for many years as a psychology editor and writer. She is current with the book "Handbook for youth with difficult parents", which she has written together with psychologist specialist Per Are Løkke.

You can find Ida at the Trauma Center department, which is located in Nedre Vollgate 1 on the 5th floor.
