Do you feel stuck, within yourself or in a relationship that isn't working the way you want?
Many who come to me describe exactly this: that they are stuck in something that repeats itself, gets stuck, or feels difficult to get out of, alone or with others.
In therapy, we work concretely and purposefully to create movement where it has stopped. The goal is for you to understand yourself better, get a handle on what is happening inside, and experience greater freedom in meeting yourself and those you love.
I often get feedback that I am an engaged and present therapist. With me you don't meet someone who sits quietly and nods, but someone who is actively involved, who asks questions, challenges and helps you move forward when you get stuck. At the same time, it is important to me that you experience safety and space to be exactly where you are.
I have particular experience working with communication challenges, doubts and life crises.
I am a specialist in family psychology, and certified in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT-C) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).
In addition to clinical work, I have a great commitment to professional communication. Among other things, I have been a regular expert on NRK's podcast "Havarikommisjonen", written the column "«Feel free to cry over spilled milk» and published the article «Emotion-focused couple therapy» in the Norwegian Journal of Psychology.
With me, you can be sure of being met in an open and exploratory way, no matter what you or you come up with. Welcome!
